Teacher Induction Stage 1 – Online Quiz
The Teacher Induction process at Atlas has three stages. These are laid out in the Atlas Teacher Induction Pathway. Stage 1 is a pre-start date online induction quiz.
Once a teacher has accepted a job offer and has received their Atlas Language School email address, they are sent a link to the pre-start date Atlas Teacher Induction (Stage 1) quiz. The quiz is a 12-question Google form. They’ll be sent a password to access the task, and they’ll also need to refer to the school’s Teachers’ Manual to answer the questions. The task basically requires teachers to locate important information in the Teachers’ Manual. All in all, the quiz should take about 15 minutes.

- Where can you find information when and how students can change level at Atlas?
The online quiz gives new teachers to Atlas a high-level overview of some of the key procedures that make up a typical week of teaching and learning at Atlas, as well as giving them an idea of how the Teacher’s Manual can be used effectively. We don’t expect all teachers to read it cover to cover before they start, but we do expect them to learn how to use it as a reference tool, for example, being able to scan the Table of Contents for the sections they are looking for.
Teachers are then ready for Stage 2 of their induction, the main on-site part.
